You can have your film ready for your product launch. Since we only need a 3D file to create the animation, your product doesn't even have to exist in the physical world yet.

The different parts your final film will contain can be reused for many things: short films for social media, images and much more.

Most of the content we produce is computer-generated. However, we have great experience mixing 3D content with real footage, resulting in elements from two different worlds.  

Get the story right - every time

Instead of leaving the presentation of your new product to individual sales representatives or dealers, decide what story you want to be told and share it through film. This guarantees less confusion as the right story is told every time.

Flexibility

At some point, you will feel your product film is out of date. Maybe you have new specifications or material you want to show. One of the many advantages of animations is that we can always go back and change it. We can update it several years later to make it relevant again.

What does it cost to make a 3D product video?

If you're considering making a computer-generated product film, you probably have many questions. And one of them is likely how much such a project costs.

Even though it's an annoying answer, the truth is that every customer is unique, which is why we don’t work with standard pricelists. All prices are individual, depending on the scope.

When pricing a film project, we first look at product and process complexity. While product complexity depends on the products' physical size and degree of detail, process complexity is mainly measured by the number of steps in the process. This includes story/plot, audience, media (platform), environment, music, process, degree of detail, and length.

Answers to some of the other questions we get about product film

Which areas of my business can benefit from product videos? For sales, consulting, and marketing purposes, product films can help you showcase and explain your product or service better and communicate your unique benefits to your customers. You can also use stills from your product film for user guides or service manuals, saving time and money.
How can I get started with product videos? When creating product videos, it's essential to start by defining your goals for both the message and the content angle. Consider how you want to showcase your product. Will you focus on its features, the benefits for customers, how it solves a problem, or what sets it apart from competitors? Your product video should effectively communicate your message in an engaging, clear, and informative manner. 

Product videos can also serve as commercials, so before you begin production, make sure to identify your target audience, determine the video length, and outline the story and visuals. Utilizing 3D product videos allows you to have full control over how to present your product, offering countless possibilities for showcasing its unique aspects.
Which file formats are you able to deliver? We deliver 95% of our films in MP4 format, but we can discuss other formats if needed.
Which resolutions are you able to deliver? The standard resolution of Full HD at 1920x1080 is ideal for most needs. However, we understand that the best resolution can differ based on your film's intended use. For larger screens, like cinemas, we can provide custom resolutions tailored to ensure your project truly shines. 
What kind of files should I deliver to Cadesign form of my products?

While we can work with any type of 3D file, .STEP files are our top choice for optimal results. We also gladly accept .Max, .DWG, .FBX, and .OBJ formats.

How can you match the colors and samples? You simply ship physical materials/texture samples to us,  and we digitize them using photo and scan technology.  This is a key element in creating high-end photorealistic CGI.
What's your delivery time? This can vary and depends on the project's scope. However, our average delivery time is 4 to 5 weeks.
Are you able to rework 3D from another CGI supplier? Yes, but it would require that we receive the 3D source files. In the best-case scenario, we can reuse the entire scene and incorporate the changes or additions you want. However, in the worst-case scenario, we may need to redo a significant portion of the work due to differences in 3D programs and versions, rendering plugins, material and texture quality, and lighting settings.
How are the legal rights for the final film? Once you've paid the invoice, the film and all copyrights will belong to you. This will also be specified in our standard conditions as part of your quotation.
How are the intellectual property rights for props used for the film? It's your responsibility to obtain all permits from the manufacturers of the styling objects included in the production. Cadesign form can never be held responsible for this, because we do not have sufficient information regarding how and where you use the materials to secure the required permissions. This requirement applies to all styling objects, including furniture and art.
Do you have standard rooms that I can reuse and insert my products in?
